Read your signals
Tawen reads sleep, heart-rate variability and resting heart rate, activity, body oxygen (SpO₂) and skin temperature from Android Health Connect — whatever your phone and wearable already record. It reads; it never writes back.
Tawen reads the sleep, heart-rate, activity and oxygen data your phone and wearable already record into Health Connect, and turns it into one readiness score — computed on your phone, explained by on-device AI, waiting in your status bar before you unlock.
Existing tools want a $30-a-month membership, constant manual logging, or your intimate health data shipped to someone's cloud. Tawen is the inverse: the data is already on your phone. Tawen reads it, scores it, and hands you one number. Nothing to log. Nothing to upload.

health data points sent to anyone's cloud. All scoring and AI run on your phone.
physiological signals, weighted into one honest number.
once. No subscription. No renewal. Ever.
A readiness score — sometimes called a recovery score — is a single number from 0 to 100 that estimates how recovered your body is today. Tawen computes yours on-device from the sleep, HRV and activity already in Health Connect, and explains it in plain English.
Tawen runs in the background and updates your readiness through the day, so a current score is always waiting for you.
Tawen reads sleep, heart-rate variability and resting heart rate, activity, body oxygen (SpO₂) and skin temperature from Android Health Connect — whatever your phone and wearable already record. It reads; it never writes back.
A deterministic engine turns those signals into a readiness score from 0 to 100 — same inputs, same number, fully explainable. Every hour, Tawen snapshots the latest data, so the score keeps up with your day.
Your score appears as a chip in the Android 16 status bar, on a home-screen widget, and on a one-screen dashboard with the full breakdown. You glance, you know, you move on.
Tawen's readiness score is a weighted blend of five physiological signals, calibrated to your own baseline — not a population average. Missing data redistributes gracefully; pillars without coverage never penalise your score.
Duration and sleep stages — the biggest driver of tomorrow's readiness.
Heart-rate variability and resting heart rate, compared to your own rolling baseline.
Movement balance — too little under-recovers you, too much over-trains you.
Overnight blood-oxygen saturation.
Skin temperature against your baseline — an early read on recovery.
Tawen doesn't just average whatever it finds. It cleans the data first.
On supported devices, Tawen uses Gemini Nano — Google's on-device AI — to explain your score in plain English, without sending any health data off the phone.
When your score is ready, Tawen explains how the day unfolded — whether your readiness climbed, dipped and recovered, held steady, or faded — in a calm, plain-English note. On phones with Gemini Nano, that note is written on-device by the model itself. On every other phone, a dependable rule-based explanation takes its place, and the score is identical either way.
We only call it AI when AI actually wrote it. No cloud fallback. No health data leaving your phone to generate a sentence.
Tawen processes all health data on your device; your health data is never transmitted off your phone and never shared with third parties.

On Android 16, Tawen shows your readiness score as a live chip in the status bar, updated through the day without opening the app.

Tawen runs on any Android 9+ phone and works with any wearable that writes to Health Connect — Garmin, Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch, Fitbit, Oura, Whoop and more. Recent flagships with Gemini Nano get the full AI narrative on-device. Every other Android 9+ phone still gets a real readiness score and the full five-signal breakdown — Tawen detects what your device supports automatically.
Garmin users: enable Health Connect in Garmin Connect (Settings → Connected Apps) and your steps, sleep, resting heart rate and calories sync automatically. Garmin doesn't share HRV through Health Connect, which affects the cardiovascular signal; to fill it, the one-time Health Sync app (~$5, by Appyhapps) bridges HRV — optional, and all processing still stays on your device. Without it, Tawen scores your other signals normally and marks HRV as unavailable.
Tawen is built by a single independent developer — no venture money, no growth team, no data-broker model behind the curtain. That's why the architecture is what it is: there's no one to sell your data to, and no subscription treadmill to feed.
The free app is genuinely complete — the score, the chip, the daily insight, a week of history, all free, forever. If Tawen earns a place on your status bar, the one-time $4.99 Pro unlock is simply how an indie project keeps the lights on and the updates coming. You get a tool that respects you; I get to keep building it. That's the whole deal.
A readiness score (sometimes called a recovery score) is a single number from 0 to 100 that estimates how recovered and ready for exertion your body is today. Tawen computes yours from sleep, heart-rate variability (HRV), activity, body oxygen and skin temperature already recorded in Health Connect.
Yes. Tawen gives you a daily readiness score without a subscription or a proprietary wearable. WHOOP and Oura require a paid membership and their own hardware; Tawen reads the sleep, HRV and activity data your existing phone and watch already write to Health Connect, computes the score on-device, and costs a single $4.99 with no recurring fee.
Tawen is a brand-agnostic readiness score: it works with any wearable that writes to Health Connect, not just one company's watch. Garmin's Body Battery, Fitbit's Daily Readiness and Samsung's Energy Score are locked to their own hardware; Tawen reads the underlying signals and scores them itself, so you keep one consistent number across devices.
No. Tawen is a general wellness tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, monitor or prevent any disease or condition. The readiness score is a wellness estimate for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
No. Your health data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted off it. On supported phones, the AI narrative is generated locally by Gemini Nano. Analytics and crash reporting are off by default, opt-in only, and never include any health values.

Anything that writes to Android Health Connect — Garmin, Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch, Fitbit, Oura, Whoop and hundreds more. Tawen reads what your wearable provides and re-weights gracefully when a signal is missing.
Yes. Enable Health Connect in Garmin Connect (Settings → Connected Apps) and steps, sleep, resting heart rate and calories sync automatically.
The one gap is HRV: Garmin doesn't share HRV via Health Connect, which affects the cardiovascular signal. The optional one-time Health Sync app (~$5, by Appyhapps) bridges it — all processing stays on your device.
Without Health Sync, Tawen still scores your sleep, activity, thermal, and oxygen pillars normally; the cardiovascular pillar shows "HRV not available."
You'll still get an activity score from your phone's step data, and Tawen will mark the signals it can't read and re-weight the rest. The more your phone and wearable record, the more complete your score.
A deterministic engine combines five signals — Sleep 35%, Cardiovascular 25%, Activity 25%, Body oxygen 10%, Thermal 5% — calibrated to your own baseline. The same inputs always produce the same number, and Tawen shows you exactly what went into it.
