The Tawen website (tawen.app) does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. This policy explains the technical reality in full.
1. What This Policy Covers
This Cookie Policy applies to the Tawen website at tawen.app. It does not apply to the Tawen Android App, which is governed by the Privacy Policy.
This policy covers website cookies only. How the Tawen Android app handles diagnostic and usage data (including Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics) is described in the Privacy Policy, not here.
2. Does tawen.app Use Cookies?
No first-party cookies. Icemint LLC does not set any cookies through the tawen.app website.
No analytics or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other tracking or advertising technology on the website.
No third-party tracking scripts. We do not embed third-party widgets, social-media buttons, or scripts that set cookies.
3. Infrastructure-Level Technical Data
tawen.app is delivered through Cloudflare for security and performance. Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie named __cf_bm for bot management. This cookie:
- contains a hashed representation of your IP and browser characteristics;
- expires within 30 minutes of the page session;
- is used solely to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated bots;
- is strictly necessary to protect the website from abuse;
- does not track you across websites and is not used for advertising.

4. Web Fonts and External Resources
All fonts used on tawen.app are served from our own infrastructure. We do not load fonts or other resources from Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts, or similar external services that could set cookies or fingerprint your browser.
5. "Notify Me at Launch" Link
The launch-notification link on the Website opens your default email client with our address pre-populated. No data is transmitted to our servers when you click the link. If you send us an email, your email address is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Do-Not-Track and Global Privacy Control
Our website does not use tracking technology, so there is nothing for a Do-Not-Track header or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to disable. If we ever introduce tracking technology, we will honor GPC signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing for California users and as a similarly recognized opt-out preference signal under other U.S. state laws that recognize such signals (Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and others).
7. Future Changes
If we add analytics or any other functionality to the website that involves cookies or tracking technologies, we will update this Policy, add a cookie-consent banner where legally required, and notify users in advance. We are committed to maintaining a minimal-tracking website.
8. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. The __cf_bm cookie can be blocked using browser privacy tools or extensions such as uBlock Origin. Blocking it may affect the website's ability to defend against bot traffic but will not affect your ability to view the content.
